It’s funny about the saying, “You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make them drink.” Many people don’t realize that in the desert a horse can find water because they can smell it. Their sense of smell is not like yours and mine and apparently, Elohim created them to be able to smell water. Clean water can’t be smelled, can it? Horses however, have a different sense of smell. With their fine nose they can smell water at a long distance. In the past this ability was utilized by the Bedouins when they were traveling in the desert. They left it to the horses to find the next watering hole. It’s actually the horse that leads people to water. So in my opinion, the saying should go, “A horse can lead a person to water but can’t make them drink”
