Truth About Good Friday | Take Your Hands Off The WheelGood Friday (from the senses pious, holy of the word “good”) is a religious holiday observed to commemorate the crucifixion of Yeshua the Messiah and his death at Calvary. The holiday is observed during Holy Week as part of the Paschal Triduum on the Friday preceding Easter Sunday, and coincides with the Jewish observance of Passover. It is also known as Easter Friday, Great Friday, Black Friday, or Holy Friday.
The belief is that Messiah was crucified on Friday and rose Sunday morning. However, this doesn’t line up with scripture. It’s known that scripture interprets scripture and so we need to explore the entire word of Elohim to know the truth on this. After an in-depth study of this, we come to realize that the death, burial and resurrection of Messiah lines up precisely with the Passover. We also find that Messiah told us he would be in the ground 3 days and 3 nights.
