When you try to control other people or dictate to them what their behavior should be you’re interfering with the work of the Holy Spirit. Controlling is not loving and you are stepping in the way of the Ruach. Do you want other people to control you and dictate to your behavior? Don’t do it to them either because this is not the Fruit of the Spirit. Controlling is a serious dysfunction and is unhealthy. It can destroy your relationships and turn people away from you.
