Scripture doesn’t reveal the age of Joseph and Mary. But with careful study we can come up with an educated guess. Mary was around 13 or 14 while Joseph was young also when Yeshua was born and not an old man as some people speculate. The Bible offers no evidence that Joseph was older than Mary. “We know virtually nothing about Joseph, and no age is mentioned for either Joseph or Mary in the Gospels. At one time some thought Joseph was very old but we know now this is not the case.

Contrary to popular belief Yeshua was not born on December 25. People didn’t exchange gifts during that time. The wise men brought gifts because it was customary to do so when entering the presence of a king. They knew Yeshua is Messiah and King of Israel.
